This is our most budget friendly option lead by our associate planners targeted to provide you with the resources to plan your wedding, with limited support until we take over the details 6 weeks prior to your wedding. Approximately 45 days (6 weeks) prior to your wedding date, we will enter the planning process with a planning meeting and venue walkthrough, as well as assume vendor point of contact. We will finalize all of the details of your wedding, which will culminate with our presence at the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, where a flawless execution is ensured
This associate planner package is tailored to couples who excel in planning but seek guidance to stay task-focused. Designed for those who want to lead but also benefit from our consulting expertise, resources, check ins, design help and eventual full assistance closer to the wedding day. This is designed with a 90-day heavy involvement timeline, we ensure a seamless transition where we step in to take charge and allow you to sit back but are available to you if you have questions in the interim.

HOW IS YOUR SERVICE DIFFERENT FROM “MONTH-OF” OR “DAY-OF” COORDINATION?
“Month-of” or “Day-of” coordination is such a common name in the wedding industry, but we truly believe that these packages are a misnomer. We believe achieving a well-organized wedding requires more communication than just jumping in on the day of the wedding or a few weeks before. Events By Michelle’s primary service (month of coordiantion) begins 6 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Do you help with set up/tear down?
This is our most frequently asked question! Many coordinators have different boundaries when it comes to setting up and tearing down. Your lead coordinator and assistant are more than happy to assist with both setting up and tearing down. Our goal is to make your wedding as smooth as possible, and 99% of the time, that typically means having not just the two of us assist with all of the set up and tear down! We are happy to walk you through the best and most efficient way for these things to happen during our meeting. So, if we do have to step away to take care of something else, your decor is still in capable hands.
Do you offer full wedding planning? What is the difference between wedding planning and wedding coordination?
We don't offer full wedding planning at this time. Our specialty lies in wedding coordination & partial planning, particularly for the 6 weeks (or 6 months) leading up to your event. In the wedding industry, terminology can vary, but traditionally, wedding planning encompasses tasks like vendor visits, vendor booking assistance, and the comprehensive management of wedding planning details. With our wedding coordination service, we're delighted to offer vendor referrals and address your inquiries. However, our primary emphasis is on perfecting the final details and ensuring their flawless execution for your big day.
My venue comes with a coordinator - should I book with you?
The wedding venue coordinator vs outside wedding coordinator debate is a tricky one, especially as many more venues now come with a day-of coordinator. One thing to keep in mind is that a venue day-of coordinator does not work for you. Their priority is the workings of the venue, and many venue coordinators do not have prior wedding coordination experience outside of the venue. It has been shocking for us to find that many venue day-of coordinators in the area have not known how to create a professional wedding timeline without an online template. This shows that they are not trained professionals, and "became" day-of coordinators when they were hired at the venue.
